Concerned you or your family will lose health care coverage if the Trump/Ryan plan (AHCA) is passed in the Senate as it did in the House in May? Do you think that healthcare in this country and in Wisconsin is in need of drastic reform?

Do you want to get involved and be part of the solution? Join us for the kick-off of OWR’s campaign to fight for healthcare for all in Wisconsin and nationwide!

OWR welcomes Wisconsinites of all political backgrounds to work together to defend Badgercare, Medicaid, and Medicare with the ultimate goal of adopting single-payer health care in Wisconsin and nationally.

Our event includes short informational presentations followed by Q & A. Then we get to work signing up for action teams.

Speakers include:

  • Professor Tom Oliver, Population Health Sciences, UW-Madison From ACA to AHCA: The Real and Present Danger to Our Health and Health Care System
  • Dr Laurel Mark, Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) The Time for Medicare for All Is Now
  • Jim Wrich & Rahul Mahajan, Our Wisconsin Revolution OWR and the Fight for Healthcare in Wisconsin

  1. David Newby says:

Thanks to Our Wisconsin Revolution-Dane County for organizing this forum. How timely can you get! But we have to link this Republican assault on the fundamental right of all to quality health care to the broader assault on democratic rights and the possibilities of public provision of basic necessities for all–from health care to education to housing to access to healthy foods. It can be done–if we have the will!

Our Wisconsin Revolution, the continuation of the Bernie Sanders campaign and vision, can lead the way to achieving this vision. Join us at http://www.ourwisconsinrev.com!

Sorry. I missed it tonight. Please keep me on the list.
